Again, the kinesthetic feedback you get from a good HOTAS setup helps a lot. Most of the time, I'm making hard turns, so having it is immaterial, but sometimes it comes in handy when in hot pursuit or you're trying to stay behind an assault mech. ![]() ![]() (Dashing back to cover is critical.I tend to get killed when I stick around for a second alpha.) You can't beat full throttle as you flank the enemy, slam the throttle back to aim a full alpha strike at an unprotected back, and then push it forward again to dash back to cover. Using an analog throttle to control a 'Mech's speed works great. (FYI - I'm a dedicated light mech pilot, primarily a Jenner.)
